The main display was coordinated in collaboration with the product team ATELIER.K. We will be showcasing denim that can only be enjoyed here, along with Japanese technology.

Denim Series

Among the world's extra-long staple cottons, Suvin is considered the best in terms of fiber length and rarity.

For this denim series, we luxuriously used organically grown Suvin for the warp threads. For the weft threads, we used highly biodegradable sustainable fiber, washi paper thread. We also use non-twisted yarn, which has a soft feel and excellent absorbency, to enhance the originality of our products.

Please come and see our high-performance, one-of-a-kind denim series.

Product Team <ATELIER.K>

In the main display of the garment team "ATELIER. K, We coordinates with the garment dyed series. The lineup includes FUKURO, which is bagged and garment-dyed, KASUMI and HIKARI, which are laminated cotton fabrics, and BARIKATA, which is a very stiff like stand on its own fabric with a special treatment. All series are available in fresh color variations.

ATELIER.K's unique perspective, we are taking on the challenge of processing cotton in a new way.

Post-dyeing evolved series

The post-dyed series was well-received at the last exhibition . We are challenging ourselves to reduce the burden on the environment by using sustainable, recycled resources. The post-dyed series has evolved this time and is now available in 100% cotton and 100% linen. The natural fabric is treated with a film to give it a synthetic leather-like finish.

We also offer products made from unique materials such as BARIKATA, a standing fabric made from cotton and nylon that has been specially processed to swell the fibers, giving it volume and hardness.

After Dyeing Evolution Series

The "Garment Dyed" series was well received at the previous exhibition. The series is challenging to reduce the burden on the environment by using sustainable and recyclable resources. In this evolved version of the Garment dyed series, 100% cotton and 100% linen natural fabrics are treated with a film finish to create a synthetic leather-like finish.

Other products include BARIKATA, a stiff as stand alone fabric made of cotton and nylon that processed a unique special treatment that swells the fibers to give it volume and firmness, and other special materials that are unique to the brand.

100% Eco Down Series

In recent years, Europe has announced policies to improve the sustainability of clothing, making the use of recycled fibers mandatory. KOWA's management vision also includes "health" and "environment," and the company is working to create products using sustainable materials. We feel that this is an appropriate piece for KOWA's apparel products.

So, at ATELIER.K, we wondered, "Can we make 100% eco-friendly down?" and came up with a product that is made entirely from recycled materials, not just the fabric but also the auxiliary materials and accessories.

Sustainable materials are not widely available in Japan, so after much trial and error we arrived at the 100% eco-down series.

This is genuine 100% recycled down, with meticulous attention paid to everything from the materials to the accessories.

100% Eco Down Series

In Europe, a policy to increase the sustainability of clothing has been announced in recent years, requiring the use of recycled fibers. And KOWA's management vision also includes "health" and "environment," That is why we believe that making apparel products from sustainable materials is appropriate for KOWA.

Therefore, ATELIER.K asked itself, "Can we make 100% eco-friendly down?" So, we
plan a product that is made entirely from recycled materials, not only fabrics, but also sub-materials and accessories.

Since sustainable materials (especially,sub-material and acceroeeis) are not widely available in Japan, we finally accoplished the 100% eco-friendly down series through repeated trial and error.

This is a genuine 100% recycled down, which we pursued with great care from the materials to the accessories.

100% Japanese down series

The penetration rate of imported clothing in the Japanese domestic apparel market is an astounding 90%. Meanwhile, the reality is that factories that manufacture apparel products in Japan have no successors and are going out of business.

However, among the rare domestic factories, there are some with such high technical capabilities that they receive production requests from the world's leading brands.

That's why KOWA is working with such excellent domestic factories. From the materials to the sewing factory, we are committed to using domestically produced products, and this is how the 100% domestic down series was born. This is a safe and high-quality domestic down series that could only be realized by a Japanese company. KOWA will continue to work with various people to promote "Made
We would like to foster the quality of "in Japan."

100% Japan domestic down series

The import penetration rate of clothing in the Japanese domestic apparel market is in the whopping 90% range. On the other hand, factories that make apparel products have been going out of business due to a lack of successors.

However, there are some factories that have such high technical capabilities that they are requested to produce by the world's top brands.

Therefore, KOWA cooperates with such excellent factories. The 100% domestic down series was created by focusing on domestic production from the materials to the sewing. Safe and high quality domestic down series made possible by a Japanese factory. KOWA will continue to nurture the quality of "Made in Japan" together with the craftsman ship.

Returnable Washi Shirt Series

The "Return to Earth" Washi Shirt series uses deodorizing, antibacterial, and quick-drying washi material. When buried in soil, this material will biodegrade in about a month and return to the soil, and then be used as fertilizer. It has the property of enriching the fields.

We used this dream material for all parts, including accessories and interlining, to create a "shirt that returns to the earth," as the name suggests.

We want the clothes we choose to be made from environmentally friendly materials...We have created a product that we hope everyone who feels the same way can try out.

Return to the Soil Washi Shirt Series

The "Soil-Returning Washi Shirt Series" is made of deodorant, antibacterial, and quick-drying Japanese paper. In fact, this material is biodegradable and returns to the soil in about one month after being buried in the soil, and it also has the property of enriching the fields as fertilizer.

We used this dream material for all parts, including accessories and interlinings, to literally create "shirts that return to the soil,".

We hope that everyone who wants to choose eco-friendly materials for their clothing will hold this product in their hands.
